Cross-linked hybrid of polyester and acrylic resins with in-organic additives.

Energy Consumption
Electricity – incidental use of electrical equipment and general factory utilities - < 0.10 kWh / kg.Natural Gas – Primary fuel used in production – usage 125 grams / m2 of product.

Greenhouse Gases
Minimal release of greenhouse gases (CO2), no or minimal release of CFC’s, HCFCs, CCI4.

Toxic Substances
There is no or limited release of toxic substances to the environment.Potentially Hazardous substances:-0-<1% Acetone (cleaning product)Methyl Ethyl Kentone1%-<5% Methyl Methacrylate

VOC Emissions
Minimal release during manufacture.

Off-Gassing
Marblo
® materials are chemically inert.

Transport
Deliveries are grouped on a bi-weekly basis, transport by road.

Product Life
Greater than 40 years with 10 year manufacturer’s limited warranty.

End Life Use
Re-use to produce new products. Recycling is also employed in manufacture.

Producer Responsibly Scheme / Product Take-Back
Marblo
® can either be re-worked to produce new finished product, samples or crushed and recycled inthe manufacturing process of new sheets. A product take back scheme has been initiated

In-Factory Recycling Program
Recycling of Acetone cleaning agent is employed with a greater than 95% efficiency rate.

Packaging Materials Initiative
Marblo
® is supplied on reusable pallets.
