In the Shadows In The ShadowsDesigner: Janet Lawrence Range: Custom material Colours: Frost Clear Use: Display Wands When: 1999 About: Renowned Artist Janet Lawrence approached Marblo with an unusual request – the creation of clear Marblo wands. After creating samples & proto-types, it was decided that Marblo could in fact face up to the challenge. Going outside of conventional manufacturing parameters, Marblo were able to create make shift moulds a cast the wands using ‘Frost Clear’ materials. The wands were then polished and rebated to fit within stainless steel collars which were then installed in a toxic creek in Sydney’s Homebush Bay. The art work was a success and remained there during the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Image folder specified does not exist!
