But in this case Tina was trying to achieve another look, the look of a natural product. She felt that the look of the almost “controlled” pearlescent swirls in the Marblo “Pearl” material were too dominantly artificial. Therefore to soften the feel of the product, Marblo suggested that a hybrid product was created. Two ranges of product (Opal & Pearl) were combined to create the look and feel required by the designer. The result is an impressive looking glowing bar which has the look & feel of natural products such as Onyx or Alabaster but the durability of a Solid Surface material.
