About: Gelatissimo required a good looking yet hard wearing, durable surface that could perform in a public atmosphere and be rejuvenated should it be necessary. The winning element for this project was keeping the costs down. To achieve this the team at Marblo devised a system of part-fabrication. Marblo sheets were pre-finished and in most cases pre-cut to approximate sizes issued by the nominated installers. Basic fabrication training was then provided by the team at Marblo to these installers in order to finish the job. The result – a significant cost saving for the Gelatissimo group and repeat business for Marblo. The result was achieved by working closely with both the designers & the Gelatissimo team and their project managers.
