Jenlin Chia of Oldfield Knott wanted to create a chilled environment that gives patrons the impression and experience of an "International Beachclub".
"My design intend is to ensure people enjoy "the experience" within the space I have designed once they have arrived.
Materials such as wood, polished plaster and resin was used to create and reinforce the beachclub theme. White wash timber were used at the back of the bar and the wave ceiling detailed to create a talking point. Marblo created geometry lines in design.
Marblo was used because of its transparent resin material that allows me to play with light. I am intrigued with the texture and lighting when backlit for the bar areas and light columns along walkways" comments Jenlin.
